Career Summary

Sumaiya Islam is currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Law, Manarat International University (MIU), Dhaka, Bangladesh. She has completed her LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.M. Degree from Southern University Bangladesh, Chattogram. She had further pursued a specialized master’s in international law from South Asian University (SAU), New Delhi, India. Beyond her academic pursuits she is passionate about research and contributed to many national and international leading journals, bulletins, and Book chapters.
